About the Role

The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for supporting the Site Manager to ensure the effective and competent delivery of employment services at all times consistent with our funding requirements and Code of Conduct.

This position will be located at our Geraldton site and is being offered on a Full Time ongoing basis.

This role comes with Career Progression opportunity, future opportunity to transition from the Assistant Site Manager role to a Site Manager role. You will also receive training and support for your next step in your career.

You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary package.

About You

To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate:

• Ability to support and mentor the Site team to deliver Employment Services;
• Experience meeting budgetary performance, Placement and Outcome targets and any other required targets;
• Ability to support a Site team to ensure the Employment Services are delivered with a strong customer service focus and in a compliant manner;
• Ability to engage, motivate and train staff to both hold them to account for their performance and behaviours;
• Ability to provide technical support to the Site team and fill in for staff as required;
• High level and operational pre-employment activity at site – including but not limited to, employer engagement, vacancy generation, internships and other work experience arrangements, facilitating job clubs and workshops to drive employment placements;
• Ability to work with a diverse range of clients in a culturally appropriate manner, and one that is understanding of disadvantage and disability;
• Willingness to work closely with the National Administration Centre to ensure outcomes and revenue are maximized and fall overs appropriately managed;
• Ability to act up in the position of Site Manager when the Site Manager is on leave or not available (including other Sites within the state).
• Data entry skills, typing speed of at least 30 words per minute and able to confidently use Outlook, Word and Excel; and
• Ability to read complex administrative procedures and reports.

You will also be required to:

• Hold a current unrestricted driver’s license;
• Have a minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or Employment Services or in a related qualification;
• At least two years working in Employment Services or a related service industry; and
• Understand the local labour market and needs of employers.

This role is responsible for making delightful first impressions on our customers, being the face of Workskil. You will use your superstar administration skills to direct inquiries to the appropriate area, in a timely manner and provide operational support to your colleagues.

The successful candidate will find balancing day to day tasks easy with strong time management and organisational skills. You will be competent using the Microsoft suite and have experience taking accurate queries by phone and using a customer relationship management system. As the first point of contact for all visitors to the site the CSO has a professional and friendly demeanour, even when dealing with a wide range of people, which can at times be challenging. Teamwork is paramount, as the site works closely to assist customers into quality employment.

This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term contract ending in March 2027 and will be located at our Armadale site.

You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary package.

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

• Demonstrate excellent administration skills, attention to detail and computer literacy; including competent with Microsoft Office Suite;

• Demonstrate experience in a busy reception or front of house role dealing with a wide range of members of the public;
• Prove your ability to maintain a calm and professional approach when dealing with difficult situations;

Workskil Australia is a national provider of Employment Services delivering the Australian Government’s Workforce Australia program. The program is playing a critical role in Australia’s economic recovery by getting people back into work.

We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Team leader who is action-oriented, resilient and customer focused to lead and manage a team of Customer Service Consultants based in our Adelaide CBD Call Centre.

Make a real impact by helping our Youth learn to drive!

We’re looking for a motivated Driver Mentor to assist young people with their learners licence to practice their driving in order to achieve their ‘Log Book’ hours. Such supervision and instruction will not involve the formal teaching of learner drivers. Instead, this supervision and instruction is intended to compliment formal driving lessons provided by a qualified Driving Instructor.

You will have access to a dual pedal vehicle supplied by Workskil to help the youth with their ‘Log Book’ hours.

About the Role

 As a Driver Mentor, you’ll be responsible for:

• Supervising, mentoring, and guiding the youth as they complete their required ‘Log Book’ hours.
• Ensuring all activities comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards
• Inducting new young people into the program.
• Working towards goals outlined in the learner driver handbook.
• Maintaining Workskil Australia’s vehicle in a clean, roadworthy condition.
• Supporting a diverse range of participants with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
• Supporting learners to engage with a qualified Driving School when ready for their Provisional Licence Test.

About You

To be successful in the role you must be an accredited Driving Instructor or willing to obtain (with Workskil Australia’s support) within a specified time frame. You must also be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of WHS workplace requirements and experience implementing WHS policies, systems and processes in a work setting.

• Demonstrate your ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to type (minimum 30 words per minute);

• Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with a diverse range of participants, particularly young people; and

• Demonstrate good knowledge of the region and townships and experience driving in this area.

• Hold a full unconditional driver’s licence for the relevant State for at least 5 years’ prior continuous duration and not be subject to any good behaviour bonds;

• Current Working with Children’s Check or ability to obtain;

• Undergo a National Criminal History Check; and

• Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.

About the Role

Based in our Adelaide CBD office, this role will be responsible for proving post placement support and administrating payments to employers on behalf of Workskil Australia and reviewing eligibility requirements based on funding Deeds and guidelines.

About the Role:

• Perform comprehensive Reverse Marketing of willing job seekers (approx. 20 at a time) to local businesses

• Generate opportunities for job seekers through BDM (i.e. generate placements, interviews and vacancies with local businesses)
• Through generating vacancies for job seekers, ensure the suitable roles are passed through to our Recruitment Administrator or Regional Account Manager for appropriate account management, while also ensure unsuitable vacancies are not accepted

• Assist site in meeting placement and target outcomes through strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Facilitate group sessions at sites including information and job matching sessions

• Proactively engage with employers where appropriate to arrange further training, wage subsidies, PPE, pre-employment checks and any other requirements to successfully place job seekers into employment

• Coordinate with relevant managers to assist in meeting larger employment initiatives.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, labour market trends, and recruitment strategies to offer valuable insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Hold a current driver’s licence and have the willingness to travel to other sites where required; 

• Have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or willingness to obtain;

• Show sound knowledge of the local labour market and the needs and expectations of employers;

• Experience in sales or telemarketing in a service industry highly regarded; and

• Have intermediate to high level administrative skills including ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive executive support to our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while also undertaking Company Secretary responsibilities and general legal administration.

About the Role

About the Role

As a Ready to Work Employment Mentor, you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering trauma informed and culturally competent case management, mentoring, and employment support to participants pre- and post-release
• Running pre-employment and work readiness programs in Northern Territory prisons
• Providing post-release support to improve employability and reduce reoffending
• Implementing the Ready to Work model, including job placement and ongoing mentoring

About the Role

This senior role will be responsible for ensuring the effective and quality delivery of the Transition to Work Program across the Perth South region, leading a team of over 20, including two Team Leaders and a cohort of regional staff. The Youth Job Coach is responsible for providing intensive person-centred case management and mentorship to approximately 65 Transition to Work (TtW) participants, aged 15-24. The Youth Job Coach is responsible for providing intensive person centred case management and mentorship to approximately 50 Transition to Work (TtW) participants, aged 15-24. We are looking for a passionate Youth Mentor who can make a real difference in the lives of at-risk young people, aged between 10-17, within the newly funded Engage South West Program. This program aims to support young people who are at risk of entering, or have engaged with, the juvenile justice system, with the objective of providing early intervention, mentoring and tailored support that empowers and assists young people to achieve positive outcomes in their lives.

About the Role

As a Youth Mentor, you’ll be responsible for:

• Providing early intervention support to young people who are at risk of disengagement, offending or other adverse outcomes
• Engage, build and maintain strong positive relations with young people and families through appointments, activities and outreach
• Collaborate effectively with key external stakeholders including schools, WA Police, community organisations, Employment providers, Youth organisations and others to achieve positive outcomes
• Case manage young people while providing a range of services including, assessing skills and barriers, creating support plans with achievable goals, monitor and review progress all while providing one-to-one mentoring, guidance and support
• Contribute innovate ideas for the advancement of young people towards goals including employment, training and encourage pro social engagement and lifestyles.
• Collaborate with Transition to Work where possible

About You

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Passionate about supporting youth who are at risk of engaging with the youth justice system, or have engaged with
• Skilled in case management, mentoring, and creating SMART goals for young persons
• Experienced in employment or community services, with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Culturally competent, particularly in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants
• Comfortable engaging with WA Police and community organisations to build strong partnerships
• Able to build partnerships with employers, WA Police, and community organisations
• Organised, adaptable, and focused on achieving positive outcomes
• Must hold a Cert IV in Youth Work or equivalent
• Must hold a Working with Children’s Check or willing to obtain with Workskil’s Support
• Holding a current driver’s licence and able to travel across the South West Region
• Committed to safe work practices, continuous improvement, and culturally safe service delivery
