We are excited to introduce this newly created role, responsible for building positive recognition of and engagement with Workskil Australia. This will be achieved through the development and implementation of marketing plans that drive leads to voluntary programs, alongside the promotion of positive stories to key funding bodies and stakeholders. This role will also play an important part in delivering internal communications, particularly those aligned with People and Culture initiatives. This role is being offered on full time, fixed term contract ending on October 2027 based at our Head Office in Melrose Park This is an exciting role in a truly values-based organisation, offering the opportunity to drive new marketing initiatives and make a genuine difference in our community. What will the Senior Marketing Specialist be responsible for? Contribute to the execution of Workskil Australia’s Marketing Business Plan, ensuring alignment with the broader organisational strategy Drive qualified leads to voluntary programs through the development, optimisation and performance tracking of marketing campaigns, including budget management and reporting Strengthen relationships with funding bodies by proactively identifying and sharing positive stories and outcomes with key stakeholders Support the delivery of internal communications, particularly those aligned with People and Culture, including Organisation Development and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives Assist the Marketing Manager and broader Marketing team with additional activities as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records of marketing activities
What skills and experience do the Senior Marketing Specialist need possess to be considered? - A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline
- Strong copywriting, editing and design skills, with experience producing publications, newsletters and digital content
- High level of attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse range of clients, employers and colleagues
- Experience managing websites, intranet platforms, social media and other digital channels to maximise engagement and achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to manage corporate communications
- Experience in not-for-profit or community sectors an advantage
