About the Role We are looking for a leader who listens, manages to strengths, is inclusive in their approach, and leads from the front to build strong teams. This role will oversee our Workforce Australia Specialist contract where the focus is supporting and providing services for customers who have a prior offender history and placing them into sustainable employment. Through your strengths-based leadership style, you will collaboratively drive initiatives and instil a culture of confidence, positivity and enthusiasm into your region to ensure high performance and compliance requirements are consistently achieved. This role is being offered on a full time and ongoing basis and will work across the Adelaide North region. Base site of either Kilkenny or Salisbury negotiable and a willingness to travel across the region will be essential, therefore a valid drivers will also be required. You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. About You To be successful in the role you will be able to: - Demonstrate a minimum 3 years of experience in Employment Services management;
- Demonstrate experience in leading mentoring and coaching a geographically dispersed team to achieve high levels of work performance and compliance;
- Prove your ability to lead and develop a customer centric team with a focus on strong and effective communication, leadership and development;
- Prove your ability to establish strategic partnerships and achieve common desired outcomes with relevant stakeholders, organisations and employers;
- Demonstrate your ability to think strategically and develop and implement operational plans;
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the local labour market;
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of working to budgets and understanding of performance reports;
- Ensure administration requirements and reports are accurate and up to date and provide reports and other information to management as required;
- Demonstrate your ability to work with culturally or linguistically diverse people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with a prior offender history, young people and others vulnerable people who may be experiencing levels of disadvantage. You will also be required to:
- Hold a current driver’s licence;
- Have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services, Career Development, Criminology or equivalent; and
- Intermediate administration skills including a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
As a key member of the Senior Management team you will participate in operational & organisational planning; and the development & implementation of strategies and initiatives.
