About the Role

This role will be responsible for managing a team of Virtual Employment Coaches and Virtual Customer Service Officers. The Virtual Services Team Leader will play a pivotal role to ensure the delivery of Workforce Australia Services for the relevant Employment Regions remains compliant with Deed requirements and achieve performance measures.

 

This position is being offered on a full-time, ongoing basis and will work virtually from home upon an approved working from home assessment.

 

About You

To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a management or leadership roles;
  • Ability to manage workday autonomously, ability to manage day to day tasks;
  • Ability to troubleshoot IT issues in consultation with the IT department;
  • Ability to read complex administrative procedures and reports, understand them and apply them or put in place strategies to meet performance and compliance requirements;
  • Proven ability to interpret reports and use data to identify quality, performance and compliance issues;
  • Cultural competency in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD/Refugee Participants, Employers and other Stakeholders;
  • High level of interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with a diverse range of participants, employers, stakeholders and staff; and
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to type (minimum 30 words per minute).

You will also be required to:

  • Hold a current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required;
  • Have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development;
  • At least three years working in Employment Services; and
  • Understand the local labour market and needs of employers.
