Career Transition Assistance Facilitator

About the Role


This is a fantastic opportunity for a savvy facilitator to deliver group based services that are engaging and fun to improve the digital literacy and employability of predominantly mature age customers. The Career Transition Assistance Facilitator develops and delivers high quality group training sessions to motivate and promote further job placements for our customers looking for work which includes mature age, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, migrant and refugee customers.


This role is being offered on a full time and ongoing basis with the working hours being Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.


About you

  • A highly motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills;
  • Experience in facilitating training;
  • Ability to provide effective and compliant facilitation of our non-accredited pre-employment preparation program to our customers;
  • Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel and Outlook) including proficient keyboard skills;
  • Diligent administration with outstanding time management and prioritisation skills;
  • Ability to work with culturally or linguistically diverse customers and team members;
  • A genuine desire to support our customers to achieve their full potential, by preparing them for, and assisting them into, quality employment;
  • Minimum 12 months experience working in Employment Services; and
  • Qualifications in Career Development or Employment Services are essential and qualifications in Training are advantageous.
