Workskil Australia is very excited to announce the release of a newly created position – People Systems and Insights Specialist.

 

This is a unique opportunity to play a lead role in the design and implementation of a new HR Information System (HRIS) as part of a project team to drive innovation and transform the way we work as an organisation. After successfully implementing the change, you will embed it as the business product owner and ensure it is continually enhanced finding better ways to do things.


Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll also manage and provide real-time data to drive actionable people insights, enabling leaders to effectively manage their teams. This role is full time, ongoing and located at our Head Office which is in Melrose Park, SA.

 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Leading the development of our People & Culture future technology roadmap
  • Designing, implementing, and optimising our HRIS in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders and managing the associated change
  • Supporting users to enable high adoption rate and maximum utilisation of the system
  • Managing vendor relationships and ensuring system performance, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Remain up to date with new technology developments in the market and with vendors to actively contribute to the development of future enhancements
  • Undertake proactive analysis using the HR Systems and tools to provide valuable people insights that identify trends and opportunities for improvement

 

What you’ll need

  • A degree in HR, Information Security, or a related field is desirable
  • Proven experience managing HR systems and implementing system-based projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management and change management skills
  • To be a systems thinker, to critically evaluate information and problem solve
  • Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and delivering strategic people insights
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage governance, compliance, and stakeholder needs
  • To be highly organised with a proactive, “can-do” attitude and an ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine commitment to continuous improvement and customer service
