Make a real impact by supporting our First Nations customer base in Inner Metro Melbourne! We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Specialist Employment Mentor - First Nations to mentor and support our First Nations customers through their transition to successful and sustained employment. About the Role Reporting into the Regional Employment Manager, the Specialist Employment Mentor – First Nations will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate positive employment outcomes for our First Nations Customers. A key to your success will be the ability to connect with your designated customers, provide mentoring and personalised support which builds customer confidence and results in sustainable employment outcomes. You will also play a proactive role in delivering workplace activities tailored to your customers as well as partnering with our site teams to build cultural awareness and understanding to support positive customer experiences and end to end case management. About You Firstly, you will bring passion to mentor, coach and support First Nations customers! You will also bring: - The ability to develop positive and trusting relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- A good understanding and awareness of First Nations people and culture.
- The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to align services and deliver engaging and consistent case management which result in quality employment outcomes.
- Well developed verbal and written communication with the ability promote Workskil Australia’s services to, and for our First Nations customer cohort.
Key Role Details - Location: Your base location with be out Fitzroy site, the role will be expected to work between the various Workskil sites across Inner Metro Melbourne.
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Hours: 38 per week
- Remuneration: Salary will be considered based on the successful candidate’s previous experience relevant to the role. A vehicle will be provided as part of the remuneration package.
