Transition to Work Team Leader

About the Role
To support the Transition to Work Manager in the delivery of Transition to Work (TtW) services for an Employment Region by ensuring compliance with Deed requirements and achievement of performance measures. The Team Leader will be the second in charge of a large TtW region, supporting, leading and mentoring Youth Job Coaches in your region.
You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. About You
To be successful in the role you will be able to:
Support and Mentor your team of Youth Job Coaches (YJC) to meet their KPIs who will be directly reporting into you.
Support the Transition to Work Manager (TtWM).
Ensure compliance with the TtW Deed and Guidelines and Workskil Australia Policies;
Ensure the Region meets DEWR TtW Performance requirements, as set by Workskil Australia.
Ensure the delivery of the service and interactions with stakeholders are positive, professional, and in line with Workskil Australia Values, Code of Conduct, policies and procedures.
Develop, support and maintain a current TtW Employment and Education Regional Plan, in consultation with the Customer Activation Manager and the Regional Account Manager.
Ensure the Workskil Australia TtW Service Model is delivered appropriately and effectively.
Develop strategies, initiatives and programs with and for Participants to generate suitable education and employment
Work closely with RTOs and educational institutions
Deliver group-based sessions and training to TtW Participants including Great Futures (Career Planning) and Job Search, as required
Engage with employers directly via telephone or in person to advocate work exposure activities or vacancies for Participants. Promote the suite of employer services to facilitate outcomes for Participants.
Oversee the delivery of Youth Advisory Sessions (Career Development) for Digital Employment Service referrals in the region.
Work closely with schools and other relevant community organisations to generate Group 2 direct registrations into the program.
Ensure administration requirements and reports are accurate and up to date and provide reports and other information to management as required.
Adhere to the Integrated Management System and assist with continuous improvement activities
You will also be required to:
Hold minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or Youth or be willing to obtain
Desirable to:
Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's qualification in a relevant field

Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
