About the Role The National Allied Health Program Manager is a key leadership role which leads a team of Allied Health practitioners and delivers key, program wide strategy and initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement of service delivery to our diverse customer base. This role is being offered on a full time, fixed-term basis for a 12-month period. The preference is for the role to be based in Victoria however we are happy to look at an alternate base location for the successful candidate. About You First and foremost, you are a proven leader who is able to effectively strategise, work in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders and engage your team to deliver consistent, high quality, ethical and clinically informed allied health services. To effectively deliver in the role, you will also be equipped with: - A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counselling (Essential). Social Workers must be registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) (SA applicants only).
- The ability to utilise your professional experience to provide leadership, coaching, professional advice and clinical supervision to Workskil Australia’s (Workskil) national allied health network;
- Experience in analysing service delivery data, including customer needs, trends and demands and work collaboratively to develop and implement allied health programs which meet customer needs;
- Strong business acumen including the ability to review service delivery reports, identify improvement opportunities and develop strategies to diversify the allied health service offering;
- Proven experience in developing sound audit and case management review practices which support continuous improvement of service delivery and ongoing professional development of the allied health team;
- Demonstrated experience in applying a wide range of psychological assessment tools, cognitive behavioural therapy and therapeutic interventions to address complex customer needs; and
- A current driver’s licence and the ability to undertake interstate travel on a regular basis.
Registration with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or any other industry relevant body will be highly regarded. Remuneration A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
