A day in the life of a Senior Talent and Mobility Consultant

As a Senior Talent and Mobility Consultant, you'll play a key role in attracting and securing exceptional talent across our organisation. Working closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment while contributing to strategic workforce initiatives and large-scale recruitment campaigns.

 

Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time schedule (24 hours per week) in this 12-month fixed term opportunity, providing parental leave coverage through to August 2027. 

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment across an allocated portfolio of roles and business areas.
  • Leading and coordinating large-scale recruitment campaigns to achieve workforce outcomes.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to provide expert recruitment advice, coaching and guidance.
  • Developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Conducting candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, offers and negotiations.
  • Building talent pools to support future workforce needs and reduce time to offer.
  • Supporting recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Providing recruitment reporting, insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Mentoring team members and supporting more complex recruitment activities where required.

 

What we'll ask you to bring to the role

  • Certificate IV in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in internal recruitment or a similar talent acquisition role.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment and leading recruitment practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional organisation, administration and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns and competing priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
  • Experience providing recruitment reporting and workforce insights.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, confidentiality and maturity.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel when required.
