About the Role This is a hybrid role which will oversee employer sales and servicing for an Employment Region for Transition to Work (roles focused on young job seekers - 15 to 24 years of age). The role will focus on direct marketing, vacancy gathering and management, development of pre-employment programs, Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
You will also be responsible for providing intensive person centred case management and mentorship to approximately 20-30 Transition to Work (TtW) participants, aged 15-24. The role will include undertaking ‘direct employer marketing’, providing individual support and the running of facilitated group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements for participants. You will undertake detailed assessments, set goals, stabilise non-vocational issues, improve vocational skills, refer to a range of services and motivate and assist the young person find sustainable employment or re-enter education and provide post placement support.
Travel across Maroubra, Marrickville and Redfern will be required so holding an unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to drive are essential for this role. Base site preference would be at Maroubra but also negotiable.
This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis.
You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary package. Remuneration A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
